No. AADVCARD uses a standard read-only OAuth consent. Your IT team does not need to grant permanent admin rights - the connection is secure and can be revoked at any time.
As soon as the account is disabled in Entra ID, the card is automatically deactivated. You can also manually revoke it from the dashboard in one click - the vCard becomes immediately inaccessible.
